Body Checking Clinic 

Hit hard. Hit smart. Hit legal. This focused clinic teaches players how to deliver and receive body checks with power, precision, and safety.

Master the fundamentals of body checking: proper approach angles, timing, body positioning, weight transfer, and follow-through. Learn to identify legal checking opportunities, target the body (not the head), and finish checks that separate opponents from the puck. Equally important—develop the skills to protect yourself when being checked, including body awareness, bracing techniques, and how to absorb contact while maintaining puck possession.

We'll break down the mechanics that separate crushing checks from glancing blows, and teach you to read the play so you're always in position to make a difference. All participants must register & pay online before attending to be covered by our liability insurance.
