After logging in, click on ‘Leagues’ and then tab over to ‘Registration’. You will only need your ‘Team Name’ and ‘Division’ to start. Once your team is confirmed by our office, you can start to add players to your roster. We cannot have duplicate team names, even if teams are in different divisions. The 1st teams to register get to pick their names 1st.
- How many players are we allowed?
U6-9 are allowed to dress 9 players + 1 goalie per game.
U11-18 divisions are allowed to dress 6 players + 1 goalie per game.
*New for 2026: U15-18 teams will only play teams from within their same community.
Teams can carry any number of players on their rosters, but they are limited to dressing the above number of players per game.
Girls teams are allowed to dress 1 extra skater.
If you have a Girls Team – it is your responsibility to let RPM know. Girls teams play 1 division lower and need to order & pay for 1 extra jersey.
- How do the Divisions work?
Players must register in the Division they played Minor Hockey in during the 2025/26 season. For example: if a player played U15 this past season, they would register in U15 for Spring 3 on 3. Players can play up a division (a U13 player can play U15) but not down a division (a U15 player cannot play U13).
- How do I add players to my roster? Only team organizers can add players to a roster. Login to www.rpmhockey.com, After you have registered your team, and RPM has confirmed it, you will need to go to login & click on ‘Registrations’ and scroll down to Team Management. You will see a list of the Spring 3 on 3 teams you have managed. Click on a team name will bring you to that team’s information page. On the management tab, you can then edit the roster of your team.To add a player, you click the “Add Player to Roster” button. The easiest way to add players to your roster is ask parents to make sure they have an account with www.rpmhockey.com and their players are added under MY RPM ‘players’.You will be required to match the player’s first & last name (as they are listed in RPM’s database – spelling must be correct), as well as their birthdate and email on their account ** Note: if the player is not in our database you need to provide an email address for the guardian(s). The guardian will then be asked to fill out the contact/emerg info & player info for the registrant for the team. They will then be auto-added and confirmed to the roster. Once a team manager has found and added a player to a team roster, the player’s parents/guardians/account owner will be sent an email asking them to confirm the players spot on the team. Players need to be on your roster before playing, they do not need to be ‘confirmed’. Don’t panic if your players are not ‘confirmed’, they just need to be on the roster to play.
- Jersey Info
U6-9 will receive 10 jerseys #1-10

Girls teams need to order & pay for 1 extra jersey, as they can dress 1 extra player. Girls teams should also request jerseys sizes for the division the girls are currently playing minor hockey.
We do not put name bars on jerseys, organizers can arrange name bars if they like. Once you pick up your jerseys, you can sort out the sizes and numbers and then arrange the name bars.

- How many games do we play? Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 12 games from April5-June 28/26. Some weekends your team may have a ‘Bye’ (no game) and other weekends you may have a ‘Double Header’ (2 games on the same day).
- What if one of our players is sick or away? Teams can use substitute players, but they must be in the same age group (division) or younger than the other players on the team. For liability reasons, all substitutes must be registered (name, address, phone #, birthdate, email) online (on your roster) with RPM prior to the game. Some teams charge subs a fee and refund it back to the player missing, others don’t charge subs, it is a team/manager decision.
- Do we need our own goalie gear? Yes, you can generally borrow or rent the goalie gear from your Minor Hockey team or Association for U6-9. Generally, U11 and up teams have a dedicated goalie.
If you are struggling to find a goalie – you might want to consider charging all the players a little extra and then the goalie plays for free.
We will send out a goalie sub list before the start of the season if needed.
- What days/times will our games be held?
We won’t really know what days/times teams will play until all the teams are registered. Below are approximate times.
U7/8 - Saturdays 10:00am-2:30pm

U11 - Saturdays 2:00-7:00pm or Sundays 8:30am-12:30pm
U13 - Sundays 8:30am-5:00pm
U15-18 - Saturdays 2:00-9:00pm or Sundays 1:00pm-6:00pm
- Are the divisions tiered? The 1st 4 weeks of play will be tiering games. After the 1st 4 weeks, the strongest teams will play in one tier and weaker teams will play in the other tier. Once the tiering games are done, we will post the next 4 weeks. Occasionally we have to re-teir after 8 weeks again for the final 4 weeks.
- How does it work for Girls teams? Girls teams generally play 1 division lower in Spring 3 on 3 than they do in their regular season. A Bantam Girls team should play in the Peewee Division. Girls teams are allowed to dress 1 extra skater, so Hockey 2-4 can dress 10 skaters and Atom-Midget can dress 7. If Girls teams get boy subs, they should not dress an extra skater.
Girls teams will need to purchase an extra jersey ($35 if ordered before Feb 15) for their extra player.
We do not form teams, if you do not have a team, we run a Pond Hockey program for U7-11, where you will play 3 on 3 games each weekend vs other Pond Hockey players in the program.
